Fulton Garden Club Hosts 2010 Central District Meeting _______________________________________________________________________________________ 2010 MeetingsSeptember 21, we are leaving Tipton at 11:00 a.m. to have lunch at the Pioneer Restaurant in Versailles, Mo and then going to the Morgan County Library for a program.
October 19, we are leaving Tipton at 12:30 a.m. to go to the Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City for a program. November 16, we will be meeting at a member's home at 1:30 p.m. December 14, we will be leaving Tipton at 11:00 a.m. to have lunch at Madison's Café in Jefferson City. We will then enjoy Christmas at the Governor's Mansion and exchange Christmas gifts. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Federation Day at the Mo. State Fair, Aug. 18, 2010
This year thirty three members brought 100 designs to the fair. Carnival Ride in the Designers Choice section was the most popular class with 11 entries. Our top design winners were Kathryn Coffman, Grow & Glow Garden Club, the Tricolor Award; Jo Ann Collier, Grow & Glow Garden Club, the Designers Choice Award; Janice Wathall, Windsor Garden Club, the Petite Award; Cynthia Brodersen, Grow & Glow Garden Club, the Award of Distinction; Jo Ann Collier, Grow & Glow Garden Club, the Table Artistry Award. |
